Many production and processing lines implement the integrated systems of automation and automatics. Reconstructed industrial facilities strive to maximally automate all technological processes and minimise the human factor. The level of automation may be different, for example, integrated and often it touches upon comprehensive metallurgic, chemical, oil refining and electric power productions. For the last few years, automation systems have been actively operated in enterprises of light or food production thus significantly increasing the production performance, reducing the cost of products and minimise the amount of defects. Along with that, the automation systems are actively used in social and public facilities: ventilation systems, systems of smoke removal, air conditioning, etc. The design of process automation systems shall be carried out only by experienced and professional engineers, as before design it is necessary to perform the thorough investigation of facilities to be automated. During the design engineers consider multiple parameters including the features of each specific technological process. The design of process automation systems is not a simple task that requires the specific knowledge, experience and responsible approach to the implementation of the set task. Implementation of automation system provides the regularity of pace for technological process; in issues concerning the production itself it ensures easy and effective control. Through this system, operators remotely control technological processes, and the system itself informs and points at the location with occurred failure. In this case the process shall be temporary ceased to the moment of elimination of failure by the operator.
