Geodetic Surveying and Topography (Topographic Survey)

Operations without geodetic surveys are impossible in mining as well, where the most important thing is to calculate the scale of blasting operations and rock volume. The studies included in geodetic surveys are the following: topographical survey as the basis and material for design development; location survey allows determining the position of main axes and boundaries of the facilities or buildings; pre-construction survey allows controlling the sizes of construction facility according to its design documentation and if necessary timely determining the design deviations;

• Determining the coordinates using GPS system;
• Creation and development of vertical and horizontal geodetic grids and construction netting during the conduction of engineering surveys in construction and operation of buildings and structures, land marking, cadastres keeping and other surveys and special operations;
• Geodetic works related to plotting and positioning of mine openings, geophysical and other points of engineering surveys;
• Geodetic stationary monitoring of deformation of beddings of buildings and facilities, earth surface and rock mass, including during conduction of local monitoring of hazardous natural and man-triggered processes;
• Determining specific resistance of soil;
• Laboratory and field tracing of line construction facilities;
• Geodetic surveys to determine specifically hidden underground facilities during maintenance and other operations;
• Geodetic surveys during equipment installation, verification of crane ways and checks of verticality of columns, constructions and their elements;
• Geophysical survey: electrical sounding, radio geo-positioning, resistivimetry, flowmeter survey;
• Logging: acoustic, electric, radioisotopic.
