Before starting designing construction of any facility it is required to study the area within which the construction will be held, analyse the characteristics and properties of soils, namely deformation and strength properties.
The most advanced equipment is used for geological and laboratory studies
Engineering and geological surveys allows studying the area for planned construction in details. Geological surveys shall include:
- The detailed study of soil properties; first of all, all physical and mechanical characteristics shall be studied, as they are used as a basis for foundation arrangement;
- Accurate determination of characteristics of soil corrosion activities and bearing capacity by the level of rock heaviness is required;
- Study of hydrogeological forecasting and possible changes in climatic conditions that may occur during the operation of designed facility and at the stage of construction;
- Timely provision of measures to prevent the exposure of structures to undesired events and environment impact including physical and geological processes.
